Our initial logo was pretty basic. We are proud we created it and that we got the magazine off the ground, but we wanted a logo that better represented who we are.
So what is Copper Arrow? We struggled to define this starting out. Eventually, we narrowed it down to a Chicago-based news and art magazine. Our weekly Artists of the Week are indicative of this. You’ll see us heavy on opinion, art, fictional, news, and political pieces.
We wanted our logo to convey that. Classic and simple, but with an artistic edge. Drawing inspiration from other news publications, particularly 90s-era magazines, our friend Guiseppi Protacio created the new and improved CA logo. Complete with bold, but simplistic white text and an arrow within the ‘A.’
We are so excited to reveal this new logo to you and introduce a new era for Copper Arrow. Learn more about Guiseppi, the man behind the logo, in his Artist of the Week feature.
